Your Colton Candidates for 2020

The time has come again and November 3rd is rapidly approaching. Do you know who you will be voting for? This is the time for us to look into who we feel with do their best to lead our city of Colton and make the difficult choices that will ultimately lead to making our city a better place. 

Put a name to the faces and learn where your candidates stand and what their plans on for the future of our city. The City Council District 5 has 1 seat open for election and 2 candidates running. It’s time to meet your candidates (In alphabetical order by last name):

John Echevarria 

When elected, John has some priorities that would immediately improve the safety of our residents:

· To research, locate, and acquire funding to hire additional Public Safety personnel.

· Evaluate cost-effective ways to slow down the traffic in Reche’ Canyon, making it safer for our children.

· Hold regular town-hall meetings with our resident family to seek your input on matters before the City.

Jack Woods - Incumbent

As Council Member representing District 5 and the City of Colton, some of Wood's goals and objectives include:

· Being committed to interactive communications with his constituents

· Ensuring stability of city finances and economic/development projects

· Enhance the quality of life for all citizens and businesses of this community.
