In partnership with the City of Colton, the Colton Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 49th Annual Christmas Parade on December 13, 2025, at 10 a.m. The theme this year was The Nightmare Before Christmas.

This year, the Chamber had 121 parade entries. There were 28 floats, of which 18 were competitive. Two dance groups competed for first place, and two marching groups also competed for first place. Many people gathered in anticipation as the parade flowed through the streets, marking one of the largest parades in the event’s history.

Spectators eagerly awaited the introduction of the Chamber’s Grand Marshal, Officer Nilda Campos, the Colton Police Officer of the Year. The Colton Police Department was outstanding, and their interaction with children and parents throughout the parade was heartwarming. Leading off the parade as the Chamber’s Nonprofit of the Year was the Colton Lions Club. Of course, Jack and Sally followed after the Grand Marshal, as it was fitting for the theme of the parade.

Each year, the Chamber spends three months preparing for the parade, securing sponsorships, coordinating volunteers, and encouraging participation from the community and surrounding cities. This year’s parade was a tremendous success.

First-place winners were:

  • Float: The Door Church

  • Dancing: CHS Feel the Rhythm

  • Marching: Rec Night Center (Colton Community Center)

Second-place winners were:

  • Float: Boy Scouts from Bloomington

  • Marching: San Salvador Church

  • Dancing: CHS Hip Hop

Third place for float went to the Girl Scouts from Colton.

The Chamber could not have put on the parade without the volunteers, the partnership with the City of Colton, the sponsors, and all of the parade entries. Until next year, the Chamber is truly grateful to everyone who participated. Merry Christmas, and may you all have a blessed and happy New Year.
